Stopping smoking can be EASY if you go about it in the right way.

However, there is one simple important question you must ask yourself before you consider booking an appointment with me, and that is — do you really want to stop smoking – for YOU? Not your partner, the kids or perhaps your parents, but for YOU?

I have successfully treated many thousands of smokers in my 21 years as a hypnotherapist, and although their smoking habits were very different, ranging from just 1 or 2 a day to 130 a day (yes, 130!), they were all trapped by the same basic thing — fear!


  • Fear that they would have to ‘give up’ their pleasure or prop

  • Fear that they wouldn’t be able to enjoy life

  • Fear that they wouldn’t be able to cope with stress

  • Fear that they would put on weight

  • Fear of withdrawal symptoms or cravings

All of these fears are just examples of one overriding fear — fear that it is going to be too painful and difficult to quit.

Stopping smoking is a big change in most smokers’ lives, it is a habit which they have been indulging in since they were teenagers (for most at least), and for most smokers it can be difficult for them to see their future without cigarettes.

Most smokers try willpower to begin with — after all it’s free! When that invariably fails, then next on the list are nicotine replacements, such as patches, inhalators, gums etc. And when they invariably fail, that’s when smokers who are serious about quitting turn to hypnotherapy.

How does it work?

My stop smoking programme consists of two one-hour sessions held a week apart. 


First Session

The first session comprises a detailed discussion about your smoking habit and an explanation of the unique behaviour modification programme that you will be following during the intervening week. A very relaxing hypnosis session prepares you for the week ahead.


Second Session

Your second session involves a review of your week, followed by a longer and deeper hypnosis session, during which you will learn more powerful mind programming techniques that will reinforce your new smoke-free lifestyle.



My unique combination of techniques makes it so easy that after just two sessions you will leave a happy non-smoker — not feeling deprived, not feeling that you’ve made a sacrifice and without any of those old fears that held you back in the past.


And that's not all

You also get a free CD to use that will help to reinforce your new status as a non-smoker. I also offer back-up sessions if required, although less than 5% of my clients have ever returned for extra treatment.
